Questions I ask prior to meeting

Business/Brand/Blog name:: Kate Doster Communications

Who are you/what role do you play in your business?: Lead Awesomeness Officer and Founder

Tell me a little bit about yourself:: Besides having terribly good-looking and ambitious friends… I’m the person coaches and courses creators turn to when they want to quickly turn Internet randos into subscribers with benefits. You know the kind that falls madly in love you and throws fist full of cash at you.

In short – I make all this online marketing stuff fun and stupid easy to implement (wink).

What are the 2 biggest challenges you have with entrepreneurship: Outsourcing. As a recovering perfectionist who is white knuckling all of this stupid thing $5-$10 activities – I have a hard time letting go. And that’s cost me and the people I was called to serve greatly because I’m not working in my zone of genius.

After retiring from my copywriting services, it’s taking a little long then I’d like to regain and stabilize the income but I know April is going to be a kick butt month.

We are at the local coffee shop down the street and I’m about to leave. Tell me 3 things you want me to walk away with from our meeting.: 1. A tummy aches from laughing so much. 2. Feeling completely motivated and confident that you made the right choice starting your online business. 3. A crystal clear plan for the next 3 steps you are going to take in your business that will bring in the biggest revenue, impact and reach so you can serve your online community and donate to your favorite charities.

Favorite drink: Iced Hazelnut Coffee with two pumps of mocha

Name a place you would like to be at right now for this interview (we won’t actually be there, but it’s always nice to pretend right?): Hawaii

Favorite quote:: Can’t lie I’m a total quote junkie. But right now…”You only have to be brave 5 seconds at a time” is really speaking to me.

Yes to Entrepreneurship with Kate Doster

Background on the podcast

This podcast came out of a need to connect fellow entrepreneurs and show them they are not alone in feeling the way they do. Entrepreneurship is a beautiful thing but it’s not always easy and most don’t talk openly about the not so attractive side of being an entrepreneur.

The Yes to Entrepreneurship is a podcast for anyone who is thinking about starting their own business or is already running one. This show features entrepreneurs who meet and talk about business, life, and how it all plays out.

Imagine sitting at a coffee shop and overhearing the people next to you talk about entrepreneurship – that’s exactly what this show is about. Swing by and drop in on our conversations – you’re bound to pick up a thing or two!

Be sure to check out YesToEntrpreneurship.com/podcast for the complete line-up of episodes, show notes, and connect with all the guest from the show. You can support the show by leaving a review in iTunes, a comment on the blog, and if you’re really feeling generous leave me a tip.
