Do You Have Any Questions?

Here are a few of the common questions I receive. Feel free to reach out if you do not find the answer you are looking for.

Who do you help and what can you help me with?

Who do you help?

Entrepreneurs, soon to be entrepreneurs, business owners and everyday people looking to get more out of their technology.

My clients range from youth (middle-high school students) to working mom’s and dad’s looking for something more. The beauty of being a business and technology success coach is that I can help a wide range of people accomplish their goals, even when they might not know what those goals are just yet.

What can you help me with?

I help you outline your idea, craft your customer experience, and teach you how to navigate the online world – websites and social media – while assisting with developing systems and processes you need in order to keep your business running smoothly.

No matter which phase you’re in- you have a great idea and you need to get going or you have a specific problem you’re ready to tackle (you need to improve your interface or you’re ready to scale up) you need my one on one consulting.

Together we can get you to the next step. Here are a few areas we can focus on:

  • Business idea development
  • Business strategy plans
  • Web design
  • Customer journey
  • Website review
Why should I work with you?

I love this question because it should be one of the top questions you ask someone before working with them.

For me, I cut out all the crap and tell you how it is. I don’t promise you overnight success and I certainly don’t sell or buy into the get rich quick schemes. If anyone promises you this (just like if someone promises you they will get your website ranked #1 on Google) throw up the red flag, pump the brakes, and do some more research before signing anything.

I do my best to deliver the best possible resources for you. I work with you to achieve your goals and to get you to move forward. If I don’t know something I will find someone who does. If there is a better fit for the work you need to be done I will refer you to someone I know rather than pretend I can do it.

I’m not about the sale today, I’m about the relationship over time. I do what’s right for my clients and prospective clients – not what will fill my pockets. If you would like to talk more just let me know.

Couple questions regarding your pricing

How did you come up with your pricing?

I worked closely with a few clients as well as business coaches to determine what I should charge.

To be honest, I hate pricing. If I didn’t have to pay bills I would be doing this all for free. For those who have been following me online you know, I give away a lot of free already. What can I say, I like helping people.

Why do you charge upfront for most services vs a deposit?

Truth is, I simply can not take back the knowledge that I give you. I want you to feel comfortable paying upfront so email me any concerns you have and will talk about it.

What are your office hours?

Office hours are 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Pacific Time. Closed on Wednesdays.

Why is email the best way to get ahold of you?

I use email as my online database for keeping track of everything. Email allows us both to have something we can refer back to as needed. It also keeps all the communication is one place.

In the process, I help teach you how to compose better emails starting with the subject line which should always match what is in the body of the email. By doing this you save both time and money later 😉

Do you have any sample work or client list?

I always say, my best sample is my website right here. Why? Because I put a lot of time into it. I take what I learn about design and websites and apply it here. I’ve built my website to be an example for others. Plus, most of my client work tends to be verbal since I do a lot of one on one’s vs building a bunch of websites.

Given that, here is a very short list of clients I have worked with regarding website work (either I built the website or I made adjustments and updated the content).

Feel free to also check out my “what people are saying” page as it has testimonials from people I’ve helped.

I'm not local, can we still work together?

Absolutely! In fact, most of my clients are on the East Coast. What does this look like? Communication takes place primarily through email, Google Drive and Zoom video conferencing which is a breeze for both of us to use.

How do I get started with a website?

I have a blog post full of helpful tips including videos that explain the different elements of a website and what you will need. Check out “Building a website.

Are you a developer? Can you just build me one?

I’m not a develop as in custom coding for website and such.

I do more of the prep work.

Helping clients map out their websites, figure out the best user experience and how to communicate that to their developer.

I do build basic websites for those looking to just get something up and running on WordPress. If you are interested in having me build a website for you please fill out this form to give me a better idea of what you are looking for. Under packages simply select “requesting more information” and then we can go from there.

I work off a WordPress theme called Divi which I’m also an affiliate for.

How did you get into this line of work?

For years people have been telling me that I provide good advice, that I’m a good teacher and that I really know what I’m talking about.

I’ve studied psychology, sales and marketing and got a BA in communications while working firsthand with both kids and adults for over 10 years now.

That combined with my natural willingness to help people I decided this was going to be part of my entrepreneurial journey. I also love to research and I am connected with the right resources so it just made sense.

I also saw too many people being taken advantage of in the space so I wanted to jump in and help.

I once saved a client $1,000’s of dollars and a 6-month contract before they were even really a client. Some guy was trying to sweet talk her with some big sales pitch and when she mentioned it to me I immediately did some research and told her not to invest as he would have taken her for her money.

What does your workflow look like?

Connect

Connecting is key in any relationship, be it the one between you and me or the one between you and your customers. It’s first on the list for a reason: it’s essential and you can’t get whatever’s next done without it.

Research & Organize

Research is fundamental to any process. How you organize the information you collect from efficient, effective research will determine your next steps and allow you to move forward (or stop progress in its tracks). Organizing and implementing effective systems is key no matter what you hope to achieve.

Teach

Teaching is the final step of what I can offer you. Once I understand you and your needs, research them and organize systems that will allow you to implement successful strategies, I can teach you how to do the same thing moving forward. The coolest part? Teaching is just applying what you’ve learned, so once you learn what you need, you’re limitless.

Do you have a business mentor or coach?

You bet I do! I surround myself with many talented individuals. I consider them to be part of my team. My team is made up of people who help me along the way – not just a contractor or employee.

Even the best of the best have mentors and coaches to help them along the way. It’s like I always say, teamwork equals success!
